- Doug Fournier - Principal Associate Broker
 Doug Fournier has been buying, selling and managing Businesses in West Michigan since 1970. His experience includes successfully closing over 50 business transactions.
Doug obtained his BA and MA from Western Michigan University. He taught school in Portage and at Grand Rapids Community College for a few years. Then for 20 years he built his own business by buying and selling 10 individual businesses in West Michigan.
In 1990 he began his career as a Business Intermediary and he has owned his own Mergers & Acquisition firm since 1995. He is experienced in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, construction, service, health and education, retail and has worked successfully with companies in many many other industries.
Doug holds the CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) awarded by IBBA (International Business Broker Association). He is also a member of the M&A Source and MAINSOURCE Merger /Acquisition Network and is working on his MMAI designation, (Master Merger & Acquisition Intermediary).
Doug is married with four sons. Two are practicing attorneys living in Chicago and two are living at home with Doug and his wife, Pamela.
- Emery Freeman - Vice President
 Emery Freeman, MBA, part-owned and managed River City Electronics Co., an electronics/electrical repair, service and sales provider for the industrial and commercial markets. With locations in Muskegon, Holland, Lansing and the Grand Rapids area, their sales grew to upwards of $5 million.
For fifteen years Emery owned and operated Freeman Enterprises, a business consulting firm, where he developed and implemented business plans for organizations and individuals, as well as doing budgeting and sales projections.
Emery obtained his BS from Michigan State University and his MBA from Grand Valley State University. He first worked in the banking industry for 3 years as a commercial loan analyst and loan officer.
Emery served three years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve where he was a Marine Officer, Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Company Commander, Battalion Adjutant, and Summary Courts Martial Officer. He was recalled to active duty in 1991 for Desert Storm.
Emery and his wife Kim have 4 children and 3 Grandchildren. Their son Toren lives in Grand Rapids and works in the photographic and imaging lab owned by Emery’s wife Kim. Their daughter Shaun is an engineer in the automotive industry and lives in Detroit. Their daughter Natalie is a graphic designer and lives in Chicago, and their daughter Ashley is a stay at home Mom and lives in Grand Rapids.
